Higgs and Co

The Higgs is still hiding but soon we may see
If it’s all the boson we think it to be
They bashed up some hadrons and looked at the mess
And did they see Higgses, they think that’s a yes.

A trillion collisions and billions of pounds
And out of it all jumps a graph that astounds
It isn’t a something that people can hold
But scientists think its what gives weight to gold

They don’t know for certain, we still have to wait
For other researchers to get in a state
They’ll calculate numbers and work out the odds
Then tell us if we can compete with the gods

Then after the Higgs there is much more to do
They hope they’ll discover the graviton too!
