Glowing

The fire in the hearth burns low
Yet still we feel the heat
The love within my heart can glow
As from your lips I eat

My hands caress your tender skin
My tongue can taste your soul
Tonight, my love, we can begin
To seek a higher goal

Your hands take mine and draw me near
On your sweet lips is wine
Release the kiss then in my ear
“Your body, love, is mine”

“The winter chill, has made me warm”
You whisper soft and low
“Take me to bed, we can perform”
The embers brightly glow…
