An apology

In all of life, and on AP,
I’m known for fun and cheek.
But something though is wrong with me
I don’t think before I speak

In every place that I am known
Some people like my play
Other people softly moan
“He don’t think he’ll only say”

I always want the best for all
Especially for my friends
Sometimes though I blow a squall
And thought and speech swap ends

The things I love I praise on high
And sometimes I forget
That would be better to be shy
Than feel this cold regret

So all of you that I have hurt
Please know it’s never meant
I’m sitting in a coarse hair shirt
All cockiness now spent
