A walk

I walked home in London
From a job I did not want
But someone had to make the damn thing work
The stars were shining softly
But there wasn’t any moon
And the roads were not to busy as I walked

I didn’t mind the walking
Or the lovely winter cold
Or the knowledge I wasted half the day
I was holding down a feeling
That was filling me inside
And the feeling that was filling me was love

playing around, seeing what works and what doesn’t
