Sun in the city

When sunlight sweeps the city streets
And chases blues away
When springtime sails in all the heats
She beats the best in play
The way she paints the stone and steel
And glorifies the glass
Makes the Londoner within me feel
That he’s born upper class
There is nothing that the toffee nosed
Have better than the rest
When the richest things that are supposed
Are the sights the sun has blessed
