Children’s knees all turn to jelly
Dr Who is on the telly
Behind the sofa, safety zone
Never watch it on your own!

Daleks kill without remorse
Cybermen are still on course
Master messes round with time
Aliens are funding crime

Old Pompei or New New York
Lumps of rock that learn to talk
Rifts in time in Cardiff docks
Nasty weapons have dead locks

The Tardis is a living thing
It can translate everything
Gets inside the traveller’s head
Helps its friends not wind up dead

Since time and space are relative
We cannot know how long he’ll live
Saturdays are bland and drear
When it’s not that time of year

So kill the phone and lock the doors
Say goodbye to dreary bores
Hold a hand before it starts
(Not good for people with weak hearts)

All we ask is Earth  gets saved
Shame on those who misbehaved
All adults knees have turned to jelly
Dr Who is on the telly
