I hope today that I shall find the lady of my dreams
As she dances through the labyrinth of life
It could be that my lady fair will dance me to extremes
As we dance away the worry and the strife

And when I find my lady fair is dancing to my side
I hope to find I’ve time and love to spare
I’ll sweep her up and take her on a magic carpet ride
And we’ll dance as we are flying through the air

And when we’ve danced our dance of love the carpet rolled away
I hope that we will dance the whole night through
For the dance of life is filled with love that lasts all night and day
And I want to dance that dance of love with you

We’ll dance our dance through all the years, and dance until we die
We will dance on Earth and in the skies above
For when you find a dancer who can dance you through the sky
Then forever you can dance the dance of love
