Writing sonnets in the bath

If I should have a stroke right now and drown
Would be the strangest ending to my path
No-one would read my epitaph and frown
“He died while writing sonnets in the bath”
It’s not that I’m particularly brave
Nor ready yet to turn my toes and die
It’s just that I would love to see a grave
That got a grin from every passer by
I’ve washed my hair and cleaned between my toes
Then scrubbed my back (I really like that bit)
I’ve even settled back and had a doze
Then dried myself and had a little sit
So now you know the strangest thing I do
What is the oddest epitaph for you?
