I want to know the Moon and stars
And lie with you without a care
To see the Earth shine down on Mars
And feel your hair

I want to fly across the sea
And take you to where nectar drips
I want to set the whole World free
And kiss your lips

I want to see my home from space
And nestle in your arms tonight
I want to save the human race
And hold you tight

I want to see an eagle fly
And walk with you where mountains grow
To look a tiger in the eye
And see you glow

I want to paint a perfect scene
Where you are lying on the ground
I want my life to be serene
Where you are found

I want to write my poetry
So all the world can see you smile
Immortal verbal carpentry
Records your style

I want to lie in bed at night
And know that you are not a dream
To wrestle you but not to fight
And make you steam

I want to hold so many things
A million deeds I want to do
To know the way each songbird sings
And I want you
