Aubade can it be?

When the morning rushed to greet me,
Dressed in no more than a smile.
I knew sleep would soon defeat me,
I’d go missing, for a while,
And in sleep I’d fall to dreaming
And in dreams you’d be my own,
When the pleasure was supreming
I would take you out on loan.
So lie back and think of morning,
Dressed in nothing but a smile,
As I dream you through the dawning
You may love me, for a while.

Woke up to hear the dawn chorus, back to sleep now
