Understanding each other

I never say the words she hears me speak
And I in turn hear everything she dreams
Within the outer reaches of mystique
Deciphering your love’s unconscious streams

I never need to wait to hear her thought
Before my words are formed she knows my mind
Communication of a special sort
An intranet of most unusual kind

But there are days she hears what I don’t mean
And moments when I miss her greatest need
Between two souls can be a deep ravine
A place to sow misunderstanding’s seed

Without a word we know what isn’t so
Express yourself and happiness will grow

Author notes

It is not necessary to word your phrase, your silent words can bring the same meaning sometimes…Unknown
