Smiles

Can you really see a tee shirt from ten thousand feet above
Can you smell the dinner cooking over miles
If you fly across a city held by wings just made of love
You will light the way with sunshine in your smiles

If you walk across an ocean then you cycle over land
’til you find the love your seeking hard at play
Then perhaps you’ll know the answer and perhaps you’ll understand
That the world has started spinning from today

When the love that you discover holds your hand and spreads her wings
And the sky’s no longer grey but royal blue
And together in the sunset you will find that nature sings
From the moment that your lover kisses you

So I’m searching for her tee shirt from ten thousand feet above
And I’m sniffing out her cooking over miles
Now I’ve found her little city on two wings I made from love
When I land you can be sure there will be smiles

Author notes

I’m feeling very blue, so I needed something happy to write
