The poets

Each day she writes a million words
To try to set your spirit free
She puts them in the mouths of birds
And I then call it poetry
And you in turn write down your heart
So that the world can clearly see
That paradise must have a start
And that is known as poetry
Now you and nature take your turn
To show me all your history
I’m glad that I have come to learn
That I can call it poetry
Each day you write in perfect words
    Perfection I call poetry
