Play like, the blues man
The Jazz band, cool hand
Blow low
Sky high
Trombone, and cornet
piano, alto
Showin’
Knowin’
Go crazy baby
Groove to the music
Gotta keep to the beat, slap your hand, tap your feet
Gotta keep to the beat, slap your hand, tap your feet
Tell the tale
Play for me
Never stale
Melody
Play the notes they composed
In the way that’s supposed
To be
For me
Gotta keep to the beat, slap your hand tap your feet
Gotta keep to the beat, slap your hand tap your feet
Now I know
I can go
Way down low
Then I’ll try
To go high
in the sky
Still we keep, steady beat, tap a hand, stamp your feet
Still we keep, steady beat, tap a hand, stamp your feet
Start ducking and diving
The music is jiving
We’re coming aliving
the horn starts to wail
and the tune will avail
as he blows up a gale
improvise
as it flies
to the skies
Now go slow, take it low, tap it out, never shout
Now go slow, take it low, tap it out, never shout
Next the gods take a bow
The band shows them how
Easy
Take it
Easy
ever
Easy
take it easy
Easy
Easy
Still we keep, steady beat, tap a hand, stamp your feet
Still we keep, steady beat, tap a hand, stamp your feet
You will find in your mind
there is always a kind
of
music
rhythm
music
music
now.

Author notes

I don’t know if this will work for anyone else but it does when I half read half sing it.

Let me know please!
