My rose

A perfect rose so soft above the lace
The petals that invite a gentle touch
You say you hold me in a special place
Yours is the rose that I admire so much

The subtle scent that seems to say desire
When I first part your lips inside a kiss
The sounds you make when we are both on fire
Are promises that joy can turn to bliss

Such perfect rose must surely bear a thorn
When you and I are joined as we should be
But I would wish to bare you every morn
Your petals pull me in to ecstasy

For you will always be a special rose
And where you are I know that passion grows
