You danced for me

You danced for me to see me smile
What pleasure from a simple deed
I’ll not forget for quite a while
The way you answered to my need

What pleasure from a simple deed
Your eyes were promises of more
The way you answered to my need
The sweetest maid I must adore

Your eyes were promises of more
Seductive pools of liquid fire
The sweetest maid I must adore
And now the goal of my desire

Seductive pools of liquid fire
Well set within a pretty face
And now the goal of my desire
Perhaps the cause of my disgrace

Well set within a pretty face
Such dreams that seem to own my heart
Perhaps the cause of my disgrace
As you display your timeless art

Such dreams that seem to own my heart
Unclad your charms I can’t resist
As you display your timeless art
I pray you never will desist

Unclad your charms I can’t resist
I’ll not forget for quite a while
I pray you never will desist
You danced for me to see me smile

Author notes

I think I shall change this quite a bit later, a Pantoum of course.
