Paranoia

When I’m lost in your embraces or we’re lying face to face
I am dreaming of those places where you led me in the chase
When there’s brandy in the bottle and the love is getting hot
I am scared that I may throttle all the happiness I’ve got

Every day it’s getting better but I never can forget
You may send a “Dear John” letter and I’d live with my regret
But I’m starting to believe you when you say you’ll never leave
Still I never want to grieve you and the magic that we weave

Now I’m sitting reminiscing how you won me with a kiss
And I hope you won’t go missing leaving me without the bliss
Of a night beneath the moonlight dreaming fairies played the tune
Or a day in blazing noonlight with you swimming the lagoon
