Travelling

Every day’s a little different from the days that went before,
There are dreams you’ve haven’t dreamt yet waiting through tomorrow’s door.
There are people who may sparkle if they ever have the chance;
In your heart you’ll hear the music when it’s time for you to dance.

Every morning brings you closer to a place you’ve never been,
There are songs no-one has sung yet, there are stars you haven’t seen.
Though it seems there’s no direction you have travelled far each day
And the only thing I’m sure of, there’s no chance that you can stay.

Every problem that you tackle, every answer that you find,
Even failing the first hurdle adds a little to your mind.
We are growing every second, change with each forgotten breath;
So don’t sit inside those shadows, life is much more fun than death.

Author notes

I think this is a song and it needs a chorus in a shorter meter, but I can’t find it atm, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know

Maybe

Who am I to mark your paper
Could I even take the test?
Am I real or just an aper
Faking life like all the rest?
