Will you love me for forever?

Every moment since I met you I have felt the need of you,
Every moment since I met you, and the rest;
Ninety seconds to the minute I have thought of all you do,
Ninety minutes of each hour you are the best.
Will you love me for forever, will you love me every way,
As I’ll love you for a lifetime, thirty hours of every day?

Every day we spend together, eight or more in every week,
Every week will be the best I’ve ever known.
When the phone rings I’m heartbroken if I cannot hear you speak,
Every second since we met my love has grown.
Will you love me for forever, will you love me every way,
As I’ll love you for a lifetime, thirty hours of every day?

I now syncopate my breathing to the rhythms of your heart,
I make dance-steps to be with you as you walk.
Sixty weeks a year together, I can’t stand it when we part,
So forgive me if I watch you like a hawk.
Will you love me for forever, will you love me every way,
As I’ll love you for a lifetime, thirty hours of every day.

All I think about is loving, you are all of life to me,
I have had to reinvent the laws of time.
I will witness Armageddon if you ever set me free,
You’re the summit of the most rewarding climb.
Will you love me for forever, will you love me every way,
As I’ll love you for a lifetime, thirty hours of every day?

Author notes

Eight Days a week weren’t enough so I made the days longer too!
