The Moon takes care of lovers everywhere

When there’s a breath of magic in the air
And evening walks are headed into night
The Moon takes care of lovers everywhere

Each star arrives in turn with hope to share
Our walkers almost taste their dancing light
When there’s a breath of magic in the air

A gentle breeze disturbs her flowing hair
To bring a liquid movement into sight
The Moon takes care of lovers everywhere

His whispered words acquire a poet’s flare
Her eyes reveal her dreams have taken flight
When there’s a breath of magic in the air

An arm around a shoulder will prepare
Her lips to meet his lips in soft delight
The Moon takes care of lovers everywhere

In that first kiss is born a millionaire
There’s silver rain as fireworks ignite
When there’s a breath of magic in the air
The Moon takes care of lovers everywhere
