Beneath the Crescent Moon

Alone beneath the crescent of the Moon
I see your face between sharp points of light
The silvered clouds now celebrate their noon
And you and I shall meet in dreams tonight

I hear your sighs inside the whispered breeze
Your lips are breathing love into my ear
I close my eyes and see you by the trees
Tonight in dreams your beauty will be clear

I feel your touch and melt into your heart
To live and love an echo in your mind
On nights like this we are not far apart
Inside a hideaway we’ve yet to find

So walk with me and bathe within the glare
We’ll always have the Moon and love to share
