He worked all week to earn his wodge of wonga,
For all of us need wonga every week.
He wished his wodge of wonga lasted longer
And heaven knows he’d tried his best to eke.

I’d like to know if you have loads of lolly,
Or if like me you have to scrimp and save.
Do dreams of dosh in doughdrifts make you jolly,
Does avarice dictate how you behave?

But bullion bags can’t truly make you happy,
And riches cannot furnish all desires.
So answer me, and make your answers snappy.
Does money really meet your mad desires?

But on the other hand the rich can boast
Their misery’s more comfortable than most!

Most of the words you don’t know, should their be any, mean money.
