Sunny Weather

Soft Summer days like yesterday
Now seem a hundred years away
But in my dreams you’re here to stay;
So I see sunny weather.

No clear blue skies are overhead,
The gentle August breeze is dead,
But I can dream you in my bed;
So I see sunny weather.

Small fluffy clouds became a sheet,
There’ll soon be leaves beneath my feet
But in my dreams all love’s complete;
So I see sunny weather.

Two worlds existing side by side,
Although all day one seems to hide,
The truths within won’t be denied;
So I see sunny weather.
