A strange lunacy

The lady I love likes a zombie to drink
But when she is sober she’s started to think
That life is a mess and it’s easy to see
That being in love is a strange lunacy

The lady I love likes her men full of zest
The bigger the better forget all the rest
But when she’s alone she has noticed, like me,
That being in love is a strange lunacy

The lady I love makes me smile when we meet
Likes jokes full of sex and white wine that’s not sweet
We chat about life and we find we agree
That being in love is a strange lunacy

The lady I love is a strange sort of girl
She cannons through life at one helluva whirl
And now and again she’ll start messaging me
That being in love is a strange lunacy
