Who else but you?

I’m sitting down to dream of Christmas kisses
And drinking ginger wine before the fire
Inside my heart your gentle breath dismisses
Frustrations born of unfulfilled desire

We’ll cuddle close, play love songs with our fingers
Each taste the others hopes and urgent needs
As silence grows the scent of romance lingers
And all the world gets lost inside our deeds

It’s just a dream but I shall draw my ration
Of long felt love exchanged on Christmas night
The only gifts unwrapped with careless passion
Seems Santa’s filled my stocking with delight

Who else but you can warm away the snow
And give each inch of me a summer glow
