Bloody Weather!

I want to go home but it’s raining
And if I get home I’ll get wet
So I am still sitting complaining
And building a cloud of regret

On Sunday I’m flying to Cairo
Before that there’s lots I must do
And now I have bitten my Biro
So all of my teeth have turned blue

This pitiful little umbrella
Is hardly a match for a storm
And I am a delicate fella
Who likes to be cosy and warm

That’s it! I am less scared of drowning
Than going home late for my tea
The man you see swearing and frowning
Is probably someone like me!
