A Summer Cold.

A colleague last week tried to sneeze me to death,
Exposing my lungs to the bugs in his breath,
And now I’ve the snuffles, a headache and worse
I can’t keep the viruses out of this verse!
So after you’ve read this it’s straight off to bed,
Drink whisky and lemon and wrap up your head;
The whisky won’t cure you, the cure’s still to find
But drink enough whisky and you will not mind!
