What I Want Most

I want a billion dollars
And to live a thousand years
Wear diamond studded collars
And breathe love into your ears

I want to press the pedals
On that long French cycle race
To win Olympic medals
And to gaze into your face

I want to ride a rocket
To the sky beyond the night
Find forever in my pocket
And to see you touch delight

I want to hold tomorrow
In a thought as clear as dew
Want to pay back all I borrow
And to live life next to you

I want so many treasures
In the years I’ve yet to see
But more than other pleasures
What I want is you and me
