A Baby’s smile

I’ve never seen a sight to match those eyes,
When happiness explodes across your mind.
Delighting in some comical surprise
There’s always something funny you can find.
A hiccough is a giggle guaranteed
A cough or sneeze is surely even more.
The fattest pigeon flying down to feed,
Or when the dogs are barking at the door.
At other times it’s love or tenderness
That puts that golden feeling in the air.
You fall asleep amidst a dreadful mess
Or cuddling your Mum and teddy bear.
No panacea could be more versatile,
You can’t feel bad and see a baby smile.
