A discovery

Slowly turning will not wake you
Moving gently mustn’t shake you
I’d love to shake and wake and take you
let you sleep
Looking at your smiling features
Most perfect of all living creatures
In all that matters best of teachers
watch you sleep
Your hair across your soft white pillow
Looking like a light brown billow
Is a kiss a pecadillo?
while you sleep
First one eye and then the other
Each one opens like its brother
Then your lips with kisses smother
no more sleep
There is one thing that we discover
The perfect place to find your lover
In the morning under cover
after sleep
