The purple flowering sleeper plant
Will only flower at night
If you want to see one, you just can’t
They’re frightened by the light
Somnambulists, when out of doors
Get taken unawares
A sleeper plant with petalled jaws
Can bite away your cares
So if you wander while you sleep
Please wear your boots to bed
So when nocturnally you creep
They bite the soles instead
