A Kenning Kyrielle sonnet

Beneath the nightshine’s silent glow
I walk beside the waterstreet
I revel in the truths I know
You make my happiness complete
Above where silverflashes play
The mousebirds dart for night borne meat
When you are in my dreams by day
You make my happiness complete
Above me starts the treehair’s song
The cowfood rustles ‘neath my feet
My heartwish makes me sing along
You make my happiness complete

Author notes
According to my dictionary a kenning is a periphrastic word used in old Norse
or German poetry. And according to the same dictionary a periphrastic word is a
compound circumlocution so here we have the nightshine, (the Moon), the
waterstreet (river), sliverflashes (fish), mousebirds (bats), treehair
(leaves), cowfood (grass) and heartwish (love).
All of them contained in a kyrielle sonnet, and Damn I wrote it for a contest
before I noticed the theme of the contest so now it isn’t in the contest at all
