When you’re busy on the box the Daily Tabby
Is just the one to keep things off your mind
The cartoon on page six is never shabby
With the sweetest page three kits you’d ever find
Before you read you rearrange the litter
A scratch and dig and then you settle in
The crossword done to prove you’re not a quitter
And check for other contests you could win.
The other cats just have to go on waiting
Don’t ever rush, it’s always bad for you,
I’m busy with the news and contemplating
What’s next upon my list of things to do.
Some treats to eat then dozing in the Sun
Too much to do to waste time having fun!
