I love to rhyme in bouncy meter
Funny poems are much sweeter
I really think that you can’t beat a
Happy little rhyme
Other poets pen a sonnet
Perter than an Easter bonnet
But I just want to stick upon it
Happy little rhyme
Children read my verses daily
Like the way they flow so gaily
Like written dancing at a ceilidh
Happy little rhyme
Now you may thing that I’m a loony
When I sing this song so croony
Honky-tonk and out of tuney
It’s just my little rhyme
