A lover of poetry

I like to write in rhyme of love, to me that’s poetry
I hope that you agree with me, about the role of poetry
It doesn’t matter what I write, I like to write for you
I also like to write for me, that is my love of poetry
Whenever I feel down or blue, I sit and write in rhyme
I sometimes write in verse that’s free, the call of poetry
The sonnet is another way, that I can rhyme of love
A stricter form that works for me, and is a part of poetry
So now my poem comes to close, another form so I suppose
Cricketjeff the rhyme is me, just a lover of poetry
