A man from far away

I met a man from a world far away
Who was visiting Earth, on a trip, for a day
He asked me to tell him what Earthlings did best
It was for his school project, that’s something he stressed
I told him on Earth many things are OK
And most people are happy to live through each day
But one thing we do well for much of the time
Is write poems, on aliens, which scan well and rhyme!
