A musing

My tea has been poured
My status restored
And now I can sit down and write
It won’t be profound
But will have a nice sound
And maybe I’ll sleep well tonight
If I haven’t written
An ode to a kitten
Or verses in praise of the sky
Then I’ll get all grouchy
My head will be ouchy
And sleep will be in short supply
I’ve written this ditty
That’s not very witty
Since nothing more meaningful sparked
So pardon my musing
I’m simply refusing
To let the day go unremarked
