A Productive Friend

A friend of mine is getting into brewing
And making wine, which isn’t quite the same
He’s filling pots with potions slowly stewing
And hoping that his produce won’t be tame
There’s dandelion to start an evening’s drinking
There’s lager to accompany his lunch
A nice dry white for when he’s sitting thinking
And stout for when his motor’s had a crunch
I think he’d like to try his hand distilling
A little whisky, brandy, vodka, gin
A lot of fun and if the gods are willing
Inebriation won’t be seen as sin!
He’s happy and there’s not a lot to lose
Surrounded by a lake of dirt cheap booze!
