The clocks jump on in many places
To make the Summer evenings bright
Despite the smiles on foolish faces
There really will not be more light
The Sun ignores the rules we’re changing
It’s just ourselves we’re rearranging
Each morning I’ll still hear the birds
Sing lovely songs devoid of words
The clocks will say they’re waking later
But they will just respect the sun
And sing for partners keen on fun
A word to every nature hater
Please get this message in your block
You only need a louder clock!
