A simple day.

In the sunshine in the garden, drinking tea;
Watching birds and watching you ignoring me.
Lazy living for an afternoon of sun
Life can be fun.
In the evening there is dinner just for two
Now it’s you who’s watching me ignoring you
Once the ritual of eating has begun
We’re having fun.
After eating we are sitting in one chair
And we’re both ignoring everything not there
There’s another story here that can be spun
Yes life is fun.
