A Simple Solution

The problems always came before November,
The day before November if you care,
The occupants thought people should remember
About the other people lying there.
Each year the local village was infested
With ghouls and ghosts and spirits, newly dead;
The council thought some cash should be invested
In letting local voters rest in bed.
As Halloween was rapidly approaching
They bought a sign and set it by the gate.
The warning’s sure to stop the dead encroaching,
Uninterrupted rest should be their fate.
“No exit from the site from this day hence”
But what if they just walk straight through the fence?
