A Snowy Winter Morning

The World’s turned white, all other shades forgotten,
And sounds are hushed beneath the sheets of snow.
The garden’s filled with silhouettes in cotton
While I’m convinced my nose has gained a glow.
As beautiful as any blackbird’s song
But I’ll be glad if it’s not here too long!
