In many parts of the Spanish Main
You may hear this odd refrain…

Though Cut-throat Clare’s a vicious pirate
Her Jolly Roger grins
For nearly all her many victims
Think everybody wins
Although they lose their ship and treasure
Their fate’s not worse than death
Most men lose their inhibitions
Their pants and then their breath!

Inspired by This_picture_of_a_Skull_and_cross_bones and also by Cut-throat
