It’s time to order in the vintage brandy
And watch each night for shapes that cross the Moon
Keep bales of hay and crunchy carrots handy
Cause Santa will be calling very soon
He likes to take a break before the panic
And visit friends relax and have a chat
The North Pole works will soon be pretty manic
And he’ll be dusting down his cloak and hat
I always try to bake him something tasty
No diet now he needs to regain weight
Ten months of healthy salads see him pasty
In six weeks time he must be nice and fat
Are those his bells? The cakes are nearly ready
A sticky toffee sponge with gingerbread!
