Have pulled you into view
I plucked your picture from behind
Now I remember you
A lovely girl I knew in school
Do you remember me
I used to clown and play the fool
To make you look and see
You were one year below me then
We would be closer now
You did not love me way back then
I called you “stuck up cow”
A foolish child, felt hurt, ignored
I loved you all the while
I’m glad that I was feeling bored
That memory brought a smile
