A world of wishes

I’d love to live inside a world of wishes
And fairy spells that make each wish come true
Of perfect meals that come on silver dishes
And waking up to find I’m next to you
A world where I could grant a thousand daydreams
And wish your dreams were always coming true
I’d follow you to grant your on-the-way-dreams
So every moment I’d be next to you
But we must live where wishes are inside us
Our world ignores what truly ought to be
Yet if we let our deepest wishes guide us
Perhaps we’ll make a truth of fantasy
So every day I’ll make a wish for you
And one day life will make my dreams come true
