A year spent on allpoetry
A year to change your life
After so long writing poetry
And so long as a wife
I too have only published
My poems for a while
But my route to present infamy
Came in a different style
I wrote a poem for a lady
She paid me with a kiss
A light came on inside my head
“I’ll have some more of this!”
Your poems rhyme and scan and flow
You can rhyme straight off the bat
You’ve given me some hearty grins
And I’d like some more of that
So keep on posting poems
And post your stories too
And keep on reading my rhymes
And I’ll read the rhymes by you!
