Dactylic poetry pleases me
Rhyming these feminines teases me
Send me an answer that eases me

Until then I do not understand
How this scheme that you seem to have planned
Can be wrought in a poem that’s grand

Imperfectly rhyming is horrid
My language would be a bit florid
And I’d get a pain in my forehead

Don’t do it my friendly test setter
Please find a rhyme scheme that’s much better
Then send it post haste by form letter

Author notes
1-3 in dactylic trimeter. (/xx /xx /xx)
4-6 in anapestic trimeter. (xx/ xx/ xx/)
7-9 in amphibrachic trimeter (x/x x/x x/x)
10-12 antibacchus (//x //x //x)

Rhyme scheme aba bcb cdc dad

But, I cannot rhyme a dactyl with an anapaest I’m afraid so you better DQ this

The Antibacchuses aren’t great and you have to pronounce forehead “forrid”, but
there are a number of dialects where that happens anyway
