Acrostics

Acrostics can be difficult to write,
Can cause a poet’s mind to fall apart.
Repeatedly I find the bastards fight
Or push a sharp stiletto through my heart.
So why do I not leave the form alone,
Take other roads to reach my readers eyes?
I cannot say, but once again it’s shown
Creative urges come as a surprise
Some readers will insist that last line lies!

Just because I haven’t written on for ages, this is a nonsense example of
course I admire those who can create acrostics with serious and relevant
content!
English
