I want to walk naked in the rain
with my lover, and lick melted ice cream
from the freckles behind her knees

I want to hold her hand on the beach
at midnight and run into the sea
and nibble her ears while she sleeps

I want to wake up with a beautiful woman
who wants to make love to me in the morning
and at night

I want to know again the joy of a kiss
for no reason, a kiss that joins two bodies
in passion and elation and simple pleasure

I want to hold my lover, as she sleeps
unconcerned by my eyes exploring her
and my tongue’s gentle tickling

I want all this, in my life and my dreams
is it wrong to want perfection?
